Abbie

I graduated from the Professional and the Master Body Worker Program at the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2012. I have been in private practice since 2013 here in my hometown, Tooele. I became certified to teach yoga at the beginning of 2018. In 2020, I began a new journey, Nursing school. I want to understand ways to prevent illness and disease, holistically.  I am passionate about healing and helping others through teaching. Massage and Bodywork has taught me an incredible amount about the human body and driven me to want to know more. It has given me and others the opportunity to witness healing and the true benefits of massage. I am most proficient at injury massage and relieving chronic pain, but I like to add in Reiki and Cranial Sacral Therapy to my sessions as well.  I continue to practice massage, but I no longer accept new massage clients and have a limited schedule. I continue to accept gift certificates.

I believe that my passion for body work and my loving attitude has led me many wonderful experiences. I am beyond grateful! My goal in life is to never stop learning; I learn something new from every client. Together we can learn from each other!

Growing up I was always told I have a delicate and grounding sense about myself. I always felt that i was born to help others heal. I was a Gypsy soul always searching for peace and emotional calming, I believe this is why I fell in love with the art of massage therapy. I began my massage journey after graduating from healing mountain massage school in 2019. I am young with a lot of energy, which allows me room to grow and advance my skills. My passion is integrating swedish, trigger point and deep tissue style massage in order for my clients to benefit the most from each and every session. I also enjoy assisting people who are dealing with rehab after injury, helping them recover faster and with less pain. My goal is for every client to leave feeling relaxed with their body, mind and spirit in balance.

I have had a passion for massage for as long as I can remember and am familiar with working on a variety of tissue types. I studied at the Utah College of Massage Therapy where I completed 815.5 hours of Eastern and Western bodywork training and also trained at the University of Utah Cadaver Lab to increase my knowledge of Anatomy. I decided to further my education after graduating to receive Quantum Massage certification as well as Ayurveda and Aromatherapy. I creatively combine concepts and skills from worldwide modalities to offer an exceptional customized massage experience to consistently fit the needs of my clients. Bodywork that I have mastered includes (but is not limited to) Trigger point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Injury/Sports and Swedish Massage.I am eager to help boost your immune system, increase circulation, and improve overall well-being. My passion is helping others improve their quality of life and become pain free. I have been drawn to massage all of my life and I believe once our bodies are in alignment and balanced with gravity we can be pain free.
In 2015 I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy. From there I certified in Structural Integration and the 10 sessions of Ida Rolph. Since then I've worked with many different injuries including sports, prenatal, both pre and post surgery, car accidents, relaxation, and many more. I love being able to customize individual massage sessions to each unique situation and ailment. I enjoy educating and helping people become aware of habits and patterns that are hindering their quality of life and what can be done at home to improve their lives.
I'm a single mom of 4 amazing children. We love the outdoors and anything to do with animals. We've moved all over but are now settled in Tooele county with our dog and 2 cats. I love my family and I love my clients! I look forward to working with anyone seeking relief!
